About this spa
Tucked deep in the Fraser Valley backcountry, this is the kind of soak that feels earned before your boots ever hit the deck. The road in is part of the story: scenic, remote, and often demanding enough to favor high-clearance vehicles and confident drivers, but the payoff is a quiet wilderness escape with mountain, forest, and river scenery all around. With a Wellness Score of 77/100, Clear Creek Hot Springs offers a rustic, therapeutic retreat where the experience is defined by hot mineral water, fresh air, and the restorative contrast of warm pools against the cool edge of the outdoors. Guests are especially drawn to the variety here, with multiple tubs or pools at different temperatures that make it easy to settle into your own rhythm, whether you want a hotter soak or a milder, longer wind-down. The forest setting feels secluded and off-grid, with little to no cell signal and the kind of natural soundtrack that comes from water, trees, and wind rather than crowds. It is an authentic place, not a polished one, and visitors often note that its rough edges are part of the charm. For prepared travelers, couples, and small groups seeking a true backcountry thermal circuit with a river plunge option nearby, it remains a rewarding escape for up to 10 guests.
“Very beautiful and atmospheric place, definitely worth visiting. The trail leading toward this area is incredibly scenic — mountains, forest, river views, and great landscapes along the way. The drive itself is already an experience. ⚠️ Season matters a lot. We visited during snowmelt season, and the climb up the mountain was nearly impossible: • no vehicles made it up — not regular cars, not even 4x4s • the road turned into deep slush and mud • in some sections we had to drive directly along the riverbed • even on a motorcycle there was zero traction, just constant wheel spin Because of this, we couldn’t reach the hot springs themselves. This wasn’t the fault of the location — just…”

GoogleVery beautiful and atmospheric place, definitely worth visiting. This wasn’t the fault of the location — just bad timing and conditions. 👍 Good alternative if you can’t make the climb: If you can’t get up to the springs, the trip is still worth it. You can continue straight instead of going uphill: • there’s a large canyon • abandoned industrial structures • a dam about 15–20 km further along the route • plenty of amazing photo spots and scenery Final thoughts: An absolutely beautiful area and highly recommended, but best visited during a dry season. Be prepared for a very challenging climb depending on conditions. Even if you can’t reach the springs, the surrounding area alone makes the trip worthwhile.

GoogleReading all those 1 star reviews is hilarious anyway, best parts were remote camping no service, cold, rough 3hr road that i took a stocked chevy tahoe up no issues. cut down a bunch of trees from the storm to get up. just remember people its rough and remote not for the city slickers
