About this spa

Tucked into the woods of Cobble Hill, this cedar-built wellness retreat offers a deeply atmospheric take on the Nordic circuit. Guests move between a Finnish sauna, a bracing cold plunge, and warm showers, with the forest never far from view. The setting feels grounded in West Coast nature rather than polished for show: timber underfoot, firelight nearby, and a hush of trees that makes each round of contrast therapy feel more immersive. Inside, the sauna’s stone heater and wood-fired character create a steady, penetrating heat, while the surrounding outdoor spaces invite a slower exhale between sessions. What lingers here is the sense of care in every detail. Visitors often note the authenticity of the craftsmanship, the clean and comfortable facilities, and the ease of settling into the ritual whether you are a seasoned sauna-goer or trying thermal cycling for the first time. Heated change areas and showers add welcome comfort on cool or rainy days, and the open-air forest setting gives the entire experience a restorative, elemental rhythm. For couples, solo reset seekers, or friends carving out intentional time together, Eldr Sauna feels less like a quick wellness stop and more like a place to return to when body and mind need a proper reset.

Such a lovely spot, tucked away in nature. This is a high end sauna experience in a rural, quiet, relaxing setting. You might hear the odd rooster and that’s it. The heat is perfect. The cold plunge cold, and the hot showers to rinse off prior to leaving is very handy.

Beautiful construction, location and scenery. The sauna is hot, the cold pool is cold and you can't leave this property without feeling happy and relaxed. Just don't slip on your way between the showers, sauna, and cold tub.

Beautiful sauna. Stove was really hot and the plunge was really cold. Beautiful property and attention to detail with the space.

This sauna is large, accommodating approximately 9 people I believe during my visit. Had a lot of space to sit. Large window in sauna to look outside. I went to a "community" offering which allows people to chat. Overall the crowd had some conversations but I think I rather silence inside sauna and don't mind chatting outside. The silent offering is offered less frequently, though. Cold plunge is one large barrel tub shared amongst a few people. max 3-4 people in the tub but never saw more than 3 people inside it. there are stairs leading up to the tub, and stairs to go into the tub. Cold shower is nearby. What made this facility stand out for me was actually the heated change rooms and option to take a warm shower and not just cold. There was not any tea served, and I did not see a water fountain/bottle filling area to fill up water bottle, but there was a washroom with a sink. Bring tea in a thermos if you want that to sip on while warming back up near the fire. This was a 2 hour session for $35+tax. 2 hours is a nice amount of time, but i did leave about 15 mins early as I was done for my tolerance. Ambiance was nice, they have chickens on the property so you may hear them every once in awhile if the sun is out. This is the second nordic spa I have visited in the area. Both are great and have slight differences but giving the same outcome.
