About this spa
Set above Upper Arrow Lake with the Monashee Mountains rising in the distance, this secluded thermal retreat feels designed for guests who want the world to slow down. Mineral-rich waters, a quiet relaxation room, massage suites, yoga space, and a cold plunge create a natural rhythm of contrast therapy that guests consistently describe as restorative, both physically and emotionally. The experience is especially powerful in the evening, when steam lifts from the pools and the lake turns reflective under the alpine light. What sets the resort apart is the way luxury is folded into the landscape without disturbing it. Private cabins bring heated floors, fireplaces, rain showers, and spa-style touches that make the stay feel polished yet deeply unhurried, while the outdoor mineral and thermal pools frame unforgettable views over water and forest. Reviewers praise the attentive staff, the calm adult-focused atmosphere, and the sense that even a short soak can ease tension and chronic pain. With a Wellness Score of 97, it stands out as one of British Columbia’s most compelling wellness escapes, especially for couples, quiet rejuvenation, and winter recovery. Capacity is limited to 10 guests.
“Halcyon is relaxing, tranquil, and beautiful! The pools are divine and the view of the mountains and lake are peaceful. Prices are reasonable. Locker rooms are clean and spacious. There was a cafe open to grab snacks/drinks. It is more geared to adults than families with younger kids as the space is designed for relaxation in mind. Great stop on your drive north or southbound between Revelstoke and New Denver.”
