“5 stars for the camp host and the access to use the hot springs. Great staff, super relaxing springs and a great way to spend a day after traveling. 1 star to the people who leave garbage in the fire pits when it’s a pack it in pack it out site. People even leave their junk at the springs, I don’t get it. Let’s keep these gems available and pristine for all to use for years to come. The road from Harrison was doable for any AWD/4x4 with good tires. Clearance wasn’t really an issue.”

GoogleBest hot springs in the whole Kootenays region! The road is windy and rocky, I do highly recommend to drive a high clearance vehicle.

GoogleWe took the roughly 3hrs dirt road along west site of Harrison lake and arrived at this place. Very nice rec site next to the hot springs. 20$ a night for a spot, the host has starlink at the entrance to the site so you can even pay via e transfer. The site itself is rather long and stretched out so you have definitely some privacy between the spots. The 10min steep downhill trail is at the beginning of the site. The hots springs themselves consist of multiple pools, some are so hot you can't even go in and are all located right next to a river where you can cool off. There is a small hut where you can also change. Grab a beer , sit in the hot springs and enjoy this magical place.
