About this spa

Tucked deep in the Fraser Valley wilderness, this off-grid soak feels less like a spa appointment and more like a small expedition with a reward at the end. The rough forest road, steep descent, and rope-assisted trail are all part of the story, leading to a mossy riverbank where steaming mineral pools sit beside an icy glacial plunge. That hot-and-cold contrast gives the experience a natural contrast-therapy rhythm: sink into the warmth, then reset in the river, then return to the springs under the trees. The setting is raw and restorative, with cedar-scented air, sulfur-tinged geothermal water, and a sense of quiet that settles in once you arrive. Guests come for the wilderness atmosphere as much as the springs themselves. Campfire evenings, star-filled nights, and the rustic backcountry setup create a therapeutic, hands-on retreat that feels deeply connected to place. It is a beloved hideaway, though weekends can bring more noise and a livelier crowd, so the best visits reward flexibility and a bit of adventure. With a Wellness Score of 79, Sloquet Hot Springs offers a memorable balance of rugged healing and natural beauty, best suited to small groups, with capacity for just 10 guests.

Great natural hot spring! You can camp or come just for the day. There are plenty of pools with different temperatures and river for cold plunges. Surprisingly not too busy for Saturday afternoon and no partying, bluetooth speakers, etc. Gravel road took us ~1.5h from Pemberton and it was in pretty good shape.
