About this spa

Tucked into Vancouver’s urban rhythm, Float House offers a rare kind of hush: soft light, private rooms, and a seamless path from shower to float that keeps the experience calm and contained. In the tank, the body settles into weightlessness while the mind slips out of the city’s noise, often leaving guests clearer, quieter, and surprisingly restored. First-timers and regulars alike describe it as a true sensory reset, with spacious cabins, guided meditation options, and a post-float lounge that invites you to linger with tea and a few extra breaths. The full wellness ritual goes beyond floating. Guests come for contrast therapy too, moving from the infrared sauna into a cold plunge for a brisk, invigorating shift that wakes the body without shaking the spirit loose. It is especially welcome in grey winter months, when warmth and light feel like medicine, but it also serves athletes, stressed professionals, and anyone carrying too much tension. Add massage rooms, robes, towels, and an attentive team, and Float House Vancouver feels less like a quick appointment than a thoughtful reset you can return to again and again.

I moved to Vancouver 4 years ago and made sure to start up my Float House membership swiftly upon arrival. I've been floating for 10+ years and love the space the FH team has curated. I recommend for floating here for any levels; beginner or expert. It's such an excellent way to decompress and reset your nervous system + relax your muscular system + calm the mind. During my time as a member, FH added private sauna / cold plunge rooms which elevated the experience all the more. Private rooms to hot / cold cycle was such a groovin' move and I would definitely recommend giving them a shot too 🧊🔥 Super grateful for the continued accommodations from Float House…

Colleen the RMT was wonderful! First time seeing her and she took extra time to go over any problems areas throughout the massage. Really relaxing studio space too.

I had an RMT massage at Float House and was really pleased with the session! I have paid for other RMTs, usually a lot more expensive, and found them to be serious, clinical experiences. My massage at Float House was the complete opposite. She was friendly the whole way through, asked me where I needed help and which strength. The bonus of being in Float House is there's a chill out / meditation area where I could go after and enjoy the post massage feeling with water and gentle music. Would def go back again!

I had a 1 hour massage with Colleen Cassidy RMT and was very satisfied. She has strong, confident hands with a good understanding of how much pressure to use. If I was living in Vancouver she would become my regular RMT for sure. I hope to get back for another treatment again soon. The massage and float combo is great. I could get into a still state much faster once I entered the float chamber.
